NEWSLETTER VOLUME 9 NO. 2

The year 2020 has already thrown many challenges our way. As never before, we have been able to experience how important cohesion and teamwork are. We therefore consider ourselves fortunate to have a community where we support each other and work together towards a goal. We would like to thank the entire Taus Gym community - members, staff and instructors - for their positive contribution during these times. We are very confident about the future and look forward immensely to times when we can come together again as before!

So in this edition of the newsletter, we discuss the upcoming annual Taus Gym BBQ. Furthermore, we would like to inform you about the current situation and measures, the Krav Maga class for young people in Breda, the Krav Maga exams and the new Women Only Course.

 

The current situation

Thanks in part to the commitment and long-suffering of our members, we have been able to facilitate safe training sessions. We greatly appreciate and continue to appreciate the respect of our members for the measures that had to be taken. To give something back, we would like to give all members a one-of-a-kind Taus Gym collector's item T-shirt! These will be provided during the month of September.

To maintain the positive trends, it is important that we continue to use measures. That means we ask you to stay at home if you, or someone in your household, is ill. We have disinfectant hanging in the gym, near the toilets. Upon entering, you should disinfect your hands. All members have helped to clean the used equipment in recent weeks. We would like to thank everyone for this and request that they continue to do so in the coming period!

 

The annual Taus Gym BBQ

The annual Taus Gym barbecue comes at a perfect time. A moment where we can finally come together again after turbulent times!

Date: Saturday 12 September from 18:00h

Location: Main location Taus Gym (Professor Romeinstraat 11a, Tilburg)

Cost of food and drinks: €15,-

Cost drinks (from 20:30h): €5,-

Krav Maga for youngsters now also in Breda!

From the new season onwards, we will also start in Breda Krav Maga classes for (12-16 years old) offer! These classes will take place every Monday from 17:30h to 18:15h from 24 August. Are or do you know someone who would like to join? Then sign this person up for a free trial lesson via this link!

 

Krav Maga exams

We would like to give our members a chance to take the exams. We have not been able to train in consistency for a while, but know that many of you have been working hard anyway! Are you interested? Then check out this page for information on upcoming pre-tests and exams.

 

Women Only Course

Next October, we will start another new women-only course! It will start on 26 October and take place every Monday until 21 December. During the 9-week course, women will learn to defend themselves in situations they may face in everyday life. At this page learn more about the Women Only Course. Want a taster? We will organise taster classes on 5 October and 12 October.
