Following the measures announced by the government on Thursday 12 March last, we have unfortunately had to decide to close the gym anyway until 31 March 2020. In this, we are following the government and RIVM guidelines.<\/p>\n
Taus Gym feels (socially) responsible for the health of its members. Even at a gym, the risk of possible infection is present. Hence the decision to temporarily close as a precaution.<\/p>\n
We would like to stress that we have not yet received any signals that one or more of our members have contracted coronavirus infection.<\/p>\n
We regret this decision but feel compelled to take this action. We hope we may reopen soon and resume training together.<\/p>\n
UPDATE 15 MARCH 18:40<\/p>\n
The government has just decided that all gyms should remain closed until 6 April.<\/p>\n

In navolging van de door de regering afgekondigde maatregelen van donderdag 12 maart jl. hebben wij helaas moeten besluiten om de sportschool sowieso tot 31 maart 2020 te sluiten. Wij volgen hierin de richtlijnen van de overheid en het RIVM. Taus Gym voelt zich (maatschappelijk) verantwoordelijk voor de gezondheid van haar leden. Ook op een sportschool is de kans op eventuele besmetting aanwezig. Vandaar de beslissing om tijdelijk uit voorzorg dicht te gaan. Wij willen benadrukken dat bij ons nog geen signalen zijn binnengekomen dat een of meerdere van onze leden een besmetting met het coronavirus heeft opgelopen. Wij betreuren deze beslissing maar zien ons genoodzaakt deze maatregel te nemen. Wij hopen dat we snel weer open mogen gaan en de trainingen weer samen kunnen voortzetten.
