Temperatures are rising again and have already given us extremely hot days. Very nice if you're spending a day at the beach, but if, like us at Taus Gym, you just have to keep going, it can be very uncomfortable. Does that mean you can't exercise anymore? Absolutely not! We have a few tips that will help you too exercise safely and enjoyably in exotic temperatures!<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Drink and eat enough<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Your body consumes more during extreme temperatures. It is therefore important to get enough nutrients and fluids. According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voedingscentrum.nl\/encyclopedie\/trefwoord\/vocht.aspx\">Nutrition Centre<\/a> an adult needs to drink an average of 1.5 to 2 litres. This can be in the form of water, but this is often not enough. Isotonic drinks, such as Aquarius, are often a better choice. This is because isotonic drinks replenish minerals, salt and sugar; Something that water alone cannot do. These drinks also help prevent nasty ailments like cramping! Above all, drink plenty before coming to our training sessions. We also regularly organise Krav Maga classes with water on our outdoor court in this heat.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Train in the morning or evening<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>\u2019Morning and evening are the coolest times of the day. By avoiding the hottest times of the day, you don't have to expose yourself to the uncomfortable heat! Sweating allows us to release body heat and cool down. It is therefore very important to wear clothes that \u201cbreathe\u201d and do not trap heat.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Avoid the sun<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Exposure to the sun means your body heats up faster. This, combined with not drinking enough, can lead to life-threatening sunstroke. Your skin can also burn, which can also have serious consequences. De temperaturen lopen weer op en hebben ons al extreem warme dagen bezorgd. Erg lekker als je een dag op het strand zit, maar als je net als wij bij Taus Gym gewoon door moet kan het erg oncomfortabel zijn. Betekent dat dat je niet meer kan sporten? Absoluut niet! Wij hebben een paar tips waarmee ook jij veilig en prettig kan sporten in exotische temperaturen! Drink en eet voldoende Je lichaam verbruikt meer tijdens extreme temperaturen. Het is dan ook belangrijk om voldoende voedingsstoffen en vocht binnen te krijgen. Volgens het Voedingscentrum moet een volwassene gemiddeld 1,5 tot 2 liter drinken. Dit kan in de vorm van water, maar dit is vaak niet voldoende. Isotone dranken, zoals Aquarius, zijn vaak een betere keus. Isotone dranken vullen namelijk mineralen, zout en suiker aan; Iets wat water alleen niet kan. Deze drankjes helpen ook nare kwaaltjes als kramp te voorkomen! Drink vooral veel v\u00f3\u00f3r je naar onze trainingen komt. Regelmatig organiseren wij ook Krav Maga lessen met water op ons buitenplein in deze hitte. Train \u2018s ochtends of \u2018s avonds \u2019s Ochtends en \u2019s Avonds zijn de koelste momenten op de dag. Door de warmste momenten op de dag te vermijden hoef je jezelf niet bloot te stellen aan de oncomfortabele warmte! Wist jij al dat Taus Gym een aangepast zomerrooster heeft? Check de agenda hier. Draag luchtige kleding Hoewel we zweet vaak ervaren als iets vervelends, is het extreem functioneel. Zweten zorgt ervoor dat we lichaamswarmte kunnen loslaten en af kunnen koelen. Het is dan ook erg belangrijk dat je kleding draagt die \u201cademt\u201d en geen warmte vasthoudt. Vermijd de zon Blootstelling aan de zon betekent dat je lichaam sneller warm wordt. Dit, in combinatie met te weinig drinken, kan leiden tot een levensgevaarlijke zonnesteek. Ook kan je huid verbranden, wat ook ernstige gevolgen kan hebben. Indien je toch \u00e9cht naar buiten moet, smeer jezelf dan goed in met zonnecr\u00e8me en drink voldoende! &nbsp; Bij Taus Gym staat jouw veiligheid op nummer \u00e9\u00e9n.
