From events and training sessions to new developments within the gym and plans for the coming months. With the start of spring always comes a period when many activities take place and many members work towards new goals, exams and training sessions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"144\" data-end=\"539\">\u200e<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"541\" data-end=\"917\">In this newsletter, we take you through a look back at the past period, but also look ahead to what is still to come. We focus on FIT Champions, the Taus Gym socks, the To Good To Go box and practical matters such as holidays and days off, among other things. Several special moments took place over the past few months, both athletically and within wider practice and training. With a lot of commitment, perseverance and sportsmanship, it was a great day for everyone who took part. Again this year, a wonderful amount was raised for Spieren voor Spieren.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div> <div class=\"wtrShtInstagramPhoto\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/instagram.com\/p\/DWeoXyyjMoj\/embed\/\" width=\"612\" height=\"710\"><\/iframe><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"\"><div class=\"wtrContentSliderElement\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h6><strong>VEVA final exercise<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div> \n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>The VEVA 28-hour exercise was another special moment that focused on commitment, discipline and cooperation. What these participants show is done on a voluntary basis and shows well how much dedication there is within the excellence programme. Nice to see how members continue to make strides and motivate each other during training. This box is meant for items you no longer use yourself, but which can still get a second life within the gym. Think of sportswear, protective gear, water bottles or other training gear. You can put things in here, but also take something out if you can use it. This is where water bottles, gloves, shirts, towels and other items that are left behind after training sessions regularly end up. Stuff often stays in this bin for a long time, so do you miss something? The Night Against Sexual Violence draws attention to this problem and raises money to prevent sexual violence and support victims.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div> \n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div> <\/div><\/div><div  class=\"wtrSht wtrRowInner wtrNoAutoHeightColumns wtrMargin\"  ><div class=\"wtrPageContent vcRow clearfix\">\n\t<div  class=\"wtrInnerColumn vc_col-sm-6 wtrNoRoundedCornersColumn vc_col-sm-12 wpb_column vc_column_container\"  >\n\t\t<div  class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p data-start=\"209\" data-end=\"526\">Retrieved from <strong data-start=\"531\" data-end=\"550\">Saturday 30 May<\/strong> the fourth edition of the Night Against Sexual Violence will take place in Rotterdam. During this event, participants can walk along with the <strong data-start=\"690\" data-end=\"738\">10-kilometre evening run (start 19:30)<\/strong> Whether the <strong data-start=\"745\" data-end=\"793\">20-kilometre night run (start 23:30)<\/strong>. The aim of this event is clear: everyone should be able to feel safe anytime, anywhere, even after dark.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"209\" data-end=\"526\">\u200e<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"918\" data-end=\"1102\">Are you 18 years or older and would like to join? Met het begin van de lente breekt er altijd een periode aan waarin er veel activiteiten plaatsvinden en waarin veel leden toewerken naar nieuwe doelen, examens en trainingen. \u200e In deze nieuwsbrief nemen we je mee in een terugblik op de afgelopen periode, maar kijken we ook vooruit naar wat er nog aankomt. We besteden aandacht aan onder andere FIT Champions, de Taus Gym sokken, de To Good To Go box en praktische zaken zoals vakanties en vrije dagen. Daarnaast lees je meer over de WhatsApp-groepen, de EHBO-training en de Nacht tegen Seksueel Geweld. \u200e Ook delen we informatie over de nieuwe Women Only cursus, het curriculum, de pre-tests en examens en vind je verderop in de nieuwsbrief weer een bijdrage van Merel. \u200e Kortom, genoeg ontwikkelingen en activiteiten om je in deze nieuwsbrief over bij te praten. Lees dus vooral verder om op de hoogte te blijven van alles wat er speelt binnen Taus Gym. Terugblik winter De winterperiode van 2026 stond binnen Taus Gym opnieuw in het teken van inzet, ontwikkeling en mooie resultaten. In de afgelopen maanden vonden er verschillende bijzondere momenten plaats, zowel op sportief vlak als binnen de bredere praktijk en opleiding. Zo kijken we in deze terugblik onder andere terug op FIT Champions, de VEVA eindoefening en de geslaagden van de examens. \u200e Hieronder lees je een overzicht van de belangrijkste momenten uit deze winterperiode. FIT CHAMPIONS FIT Champions 2026 was opnieuw een geslaagde editie, waarin deelnemers zichzelf fysiek en mentaal hebben uitgedaagd. Met veel inzet, doorzettingsvermogen en sportiviteit werd het een mooie dag voor iedereen die meedeed. Ook dit jaar is er weer een prachtig bedrag opgehaald voor Spieren voor Spieren. VEVA eindoefening De VEVA 28-uurs oefening was opnieuw een bijzonder moment waarin inzet, discipline en samenwerking centraal stonden. Wat deze deelnemers laten zien, gebeurt op vrijwillige basis en laat goed zien hoeveel toewijding er binnen het excellentieprogramma zit. Een mooie en indrukwekkende afsluiting van deze intensieve oefening. Geslaagd! De afgelopen periode is er weer hard getraind binnen alle groepen. Mooi om te zien hoe leden stappen blijven maken en elkaar blijven motiveren tijdens de trainingen. Gefeliciteerd aan iedereen die geslaagd is en op naar het volgende level. Taus Gym sokken De Taus Gym sokken zijn inmiddels verkrijgbaar. Deze sokken zijn ontworpen voor comfort tijdens het trainen, maar zijn ook geschikt om dagelijks te dragen. Ze sluiten aan bij de uitstraling van de gym en zijn inmiddels al regelmatig te zien tijdens trainingen. \u200e De sokken zijn verkrijgbaar in zwart en wit, met witte, rode of blauwe bedrukking. Prijs:1 paar voor \u20ac9,-3 paar voor \u20ac25,- \u200e Bestellen kan via:het contactformulier Too good to go box Herinnering voor iedereen: op onze hoofdlocatie in Tilburg staat nog steeds de Too Good To Go box. Deze box is bedoeld voor spullen die je zelf niet meer gebruikt, maar die nog prima een tweede leven kunnen krijgen binnen de gym. Denk aan sportkleding, beschermingsmateriaal, bidons of andere trainingsspullen. Je kunt hier spullen in leggen, maar er ook iets uithalen als je iets kunt gebruiken. Op die manier helpen we elkaar en voorkomen we dat goede spullen ongebruikt blijven liggen. Daarnaast hebben we ook een gevonden voorwerpen box. Hier belanden regelmatig bidons, handschoenen, shirts, handdoeken en andere spullen die na trainingen blijven liggen. Er blijven vaak spullen langere tijd in deze bak liggen, dus mis je iets? Neem dan even de tijd om hierin te kijken. \u200e Zo houden we samen de gym netjes, helpen we elkaar waar mogelijk en zorgen we ervoor dat spullen niet onnodig verloren gaan. Nacht Tegen Seksueel Geweld Seksueel geweld is helaas nog steeds een realiteit en komt in veel verschillende vormen voor, van intimidatie en ongewenst gedrag tot fysiek geweld. Met de Nacht Tegen Seksueel Geweld wordt aandacht gevraagd voor dit probleem en wordt er geld opgehaald om seksueel geweld te voorkomen en slachtoffers te ondersteunen. Op zaterdag 30 mei vindt in Rotterdam de vierde editie van de Nacht Tegen Seksueel Geweld plaats. Tijdens dit evenement kunnen deelnemers meelopen met de avondloop van 10 kilometer (start 19.30 uur) of de nachtloop van 20 kilometer (start 23.30 uur). Het doel van dit evenement is duidelijk: iedereen moet zich altijd en overal veilig kunnen voelen, ook als het donker is. \u200e Ben je 18 jaar of ouder en wil je graag meedoen? Je kunt je opgeven door een mail te sturen naar Louise (stayaway@ikmf.nl). Zij is het hoofd van de vrouwendivisie in Nederland en organiseert het team dat vanuit IKMF mee gaat lopen. Ongevallen kunnen zowel binnen de sport als in het dagelijks leven voorkomen en daarom is het belangrijk om voorbereid te zijn.
